Seurojentaloa on viime vuosina kunnostettu ahkerasti paikallisten voimin eri tahoilta saadun hankerahan avulla. Pirkanmaan ympäristökeskus rahoitti rungon korjaukseen ja Kantri ry keittiöremontin. Hirsiä on vaihdettu alakerrassa uusiin ja yläpohjaan laitettu lisäeristystä. Taloon on tehty kattoremontti 1990, jolloin katkaistiin vanhat hormit. 1960-luvulta peräisin olevia ikkunoita kunnostetaan talkootöinä.

Tilat soveltuvat esim. juhla- ja tanssikäyttöön, teatteri- ja musiikkiesitysten pitämiseen sekä kokoustiloiksi. Ongelmana on kuitenkin ollut lämmitys. Käytössä sähköpuhaltimet, salissa kaksi 9 kW ja 1990 asennetut kolme uudempaa yhteisteholtaan 27 kW. Ongelmina huollon hankaluus ja ilman lämpeneminen kerroksittain. Tähän on haettu joustavaa ja toimivaa ratkaisua hankkeen avulla.

Kylätalot kuntoon –hanke on auttanut:

  • Lämmitysjärjestelmän uusimisen suunnittelussa. Ratkaisuksi valittiin ilmalämpöpumput ja säteilylämmittimet
  • Eteisen eristyksen ja remontoinnin suunnittelussa
