Sisäkuivakäymälä on hyvä vaihtoehto taloon, jonka jätevesien käsittely on olosuhteiden, sijainnin tai muun syyn takia haasteelinen järjestää. Kaiken lisäksi kuivakäymälästä saadaan lopputuotteeksi arvokasta maanparannusainetta pihan kasveille, joten se on järkevä vaihtoehto myös aivan tavallisiin kohteisiin. Jos esimerkiksi ainoa mahdollinen jätevesijärjestelmä kylätalon tontille on umpisäiliö, voidaan kuivakäymälän avulla pidentää säiliön tyhjennysväliä huomattavasti. Tavallinen vesiWC-istuin käyttää jokaisella huuhtelukerralla n. 15 litraa vettä, joten pelkillä vessakäynneillä umpisäiliö täyttyy hetkessä.
